1. All interested applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by July 18th, 2011.  Applicants should use this template (click here for the template) and submit the Letter in PDF form to pmprojects@partners.org.  These letters will be reviewed, and, after review, individuals will be selected in mid-August to respond with a full application.

2. Full applications will be due September 19th, 2011 and should be in the format of an NIH Research Project Grant Program (RO1) application, using the Public Health Service Grant (PHS 398) forms. The application should include the following pages:

d. Form Page 2: Summary, Relevance, Project/Performance Sites, Senior/Key Personnel

g. Form Page 5: Budget for Entire Proposed Project Period (and Budget Justification)

h. Biographical Sketch Format Page

i. Other Support Format Page: Example

j. Research Plan* (see page I-41 of the PHS 398 Instructions for Preparing Research Plan for an example)

          *No more than 6 pages, single-spaced, size 11 Arial font, at least 0.5 inch margins from all sides

All applications must be submitted electronically in PDF format by email attachment to pmprojects@partners.org by September 19th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Applicants are expected to submit the project to the IRB immediately following the September 19th application deadline.  Awardees will be notified of project approval in October 2011.  Signed originals of the face page, budget page and/or IRB approvals will be requested if the project is approved. 

The project start date will be January 3, 2012.
